University College Dublin

UCD is Dublin’s largest university. The University College Dublin campus is located at Belfield in South Dublin; a short distance from Merrion Hall Ballsbridge Dublin.

UCD is also one of the largest research centres in Ireland. Established in 1854, the university played a key role in the history of the modern Irish state with five of Ireland's Taoisigh (Prime Ministers) graduating from UCD and the renowned writer James Joyce, who completed his Bachelor of Arts at the university in 1902.
