The National Museum of Ireland Natural History section is located on Merrion Street, Dublin 2, just 5 minutes from The Merrion Hall Hotel. The Natural History Museum was opened in 1857 by famous Scottish Explorer Dr. David Livingstone. The museum houses specimens of animals from around the world.
